The Villa is a two minute walk to the excellent, rocky/sandy snorkeling beach of Frank Bay and a five minute drive or taxi to the best-in-world, spectacular, north shore National Park beaches. Unique shops and restaurants of every kind are a five minute walk to from this mature, residential neighborhood.

The Loft Suite's Great Room is open to the trade winds and the sounds of the sea. The artwork competes with the spectacular, panoramic view of the blue Caribbean Sea, colorful sunsets and the islands in the distance. You have a 200 degree view encompassing St. Croix forty miles to the South and the night time sparkle from the lights of St. Thomas to the West.

The King size master bedroom suite and large master bath with two sinks make this a wonderful anniversary & honeymoon retreat. The additional bedroom with a second king bed and a second bathroom off the hall make the Villa Bougainvillea Loft Suite particularly well suited to rental by two couples as well. Villa Bougainvillea Loft Suite can also be combined with the two bedroom Villa Bougainvillea Garden Suite below to accommodate larger groups.

The garden surrounds the house with a constantly changing array of color and fragrance… jasmine, hibiscus, euphorbia, and at Christmas, red and white poinsettias. The signature flower of the house, the bougainvillea, blooms year round.

The charm of the West Indian ambiance is combined with the modern conveniences that make this vacation home perfect for a relaxed stay in the islands. You may not find time for the cable television, the DVD or the sound system with CD player, but they are there if desired. A gas barbecue for outdoor meal preparation is on the deck. Villa Bougainvillea was the original island residence of Donald Schnell, his wife Deborah and their growing family - you're sure to enjoy it as much as they did.
